In the 1950s, Secondo Piraccini began his fruit and vegetable trading activity in the domestic market; in 1966, together with his sons Walther, Valchirio and Valtiero, he founded the company Piraccini Secondo s.n.c., which is now named Piraccini Secondo s.r.l. It is currently active in Italy with about 20,000 tonnes of fresh fruit and vegetables marketed every year.
Quality, wholesomeness and innovation have always been the mainstays of the Piraccini Group, which are maintained thanks to ongoing checks throughout the supply chain and by investing in research and development in order to launch products on the market that consistently meet consumer needs.
The Piraccini brothers personally oversee the relationships with producers and customers, taking care of the details of product supply and with the aim to ensure supplier loyalty, constantly improve the company's organisation and increase its competitiveness in various markets.
